Traitology Company Overview
Traitology is a small plant biotechnology company local to NC that focuses on developing superior varieties of soybeans through gene editing and data science. For this project, I had the pleasure of interviewing a scientist at Traitology to further understand the company, its current struggles, and its outlooks.
Novonesis Mid-Project Update
This is the mid-semester presentation my team and I prepared for Novonesis so they could stay informed on our progress. Included are the individual summaries of the team members' research, combined summaries of the whole team's research, and agreed upon goals moving forward.
Microbial Biotechnology (MB555) Midterm Paper
This is a short mid-term paper written as the graduate student additional project for MB555. This paper describes an experimental upstream approach for producing ZnO/MnO nanocomposites using fungi. A point was made in the paper to address topics covered in each lecture in the class.
